Virgínia Andrade has been awarded an EMBO Postdoctoral Fellowship. This fellowship supports excellent postdoctoral researchers throughout Europe and the world for a period of up to two years. With this fellowship Andrade will study the mechanochemical signalling guiding morphogenesis during development of vertebrate embryos. The results of this project will provide a comprehensive understanding of the relationship between mechanics and signalling regulating the segmentation of vertebrate embryos.

We have been awarded a Unique High Risk Project grant funded by KWF and Alpes d’Huzes to study signalling dynamics in colorectal cancer. Pascal Schulthess will combine theory with experiments to understand how the timing of drug pulses influences the efficiency of chemotherapy
We have been a awarded an NWO Klein-0 grant for the purchase of an inverted light-sheet microscope. It will be exciting to image embryonic tissues and adult tissue organoids at high spatiotemporal resolution. Have a look at the official announcement.
Ina has been awarded an ERC starting grant to study the function of signalling dynamics in multicellular systems.
