Yasmine and Ina have written a short review about the different types of stem cell-based in vitro models of embryonic development. This includes embryo-like models such as blastoids and gastruloids as well as those models based on the directed differentiation of stem cells along specific trajectories, for instance the neural lineage. The publication can be […]

Together with Matthias Lutolf, Ananya Gupta and Alexa Hughes, Ina has written a review on bioengineering approaches in the establishment and optimization of embryo-like model systems. The review is part of a special issue on stem cell-based embryo-like model systems published in Stem Cell Reports. The publication can be found here. download pdf
Marek and Wilke have described our microfluidic system for the functional investigation of signalling oscillations in developing mouse embryos in a Methods paper in JoVE.
Our study on single-cell analysis of gastruloids got published, a very fruitful collaboration with the labs of Alfonso Martinez Arias and Alexander van Oudenaarden.
Our review on how microfluidics can be used to address questions in developmental biology has been published in Developmental Cell.
